Travelling Guide: "Limón" Costa Rica

    Culture

        This part of Costa Rica is unique, it´s home of the Afro-Caribbean culture with beautiful beaches            and amazing plates. Limón is a very bright place with great weather and cultural activities all over         the year, that makes it one of the places that tourists must visit in the country. It is one of the most         diverse provinces in Costa Rica with all kinds of ethnicities put together. It also has the most                    important piers of the country which helps to the development of the city and extensive plantation         areas of banana, cacao. These products are the main agricultural export products of Costa Rica.

        The culture here is one of a kind, and there are some activities that tourists might visit as well. The         main one here is the Grand Parade in the center of Limon, it is a parade with typical dances of the         Caribbean, typical suits, it is very enjoyable, and I tell visitors all the time that they should attend            to the parade. The Carnivals here are amazing too, they have lots of attractions, local plates, and            parties where people enjoy their nights, this is one of the other activities that tourists may visit                here.

         You can enjoy there calms water and a uncrowded landscape. Otherwise arrangement 

         shouldn't be a worry, if you were looking for it you would find around this beautiful place 

         many hotels a restaurants.

               Tortugero

         Another place you could visit if you are looking for a closer experience with nature is                             Torguero, which is part of Tortuguero National Park. You  might see the  there the 

            nesting of green turtles and also might expect a large biodiversity.

                

    

          

    Gastronomy

        In Limon there are a lot of Delicious food that you should give it a chance! We recommend to try            this recommendations:

       "Pan Bon Pan negro" that is prepared with dry fruits, nuts and honey,            you must try it! is a             unique opportunity      

        "Rice and Beans" it is rice with beans seasoned with            coconut milk, may you add chicken to          make it more fabolous 

       

        "Rondon" a fish soup with                    coconut milk that is usually eaten with a touch of lemon,             you should eat it carefully. too hot!  

                 

        "Bizcocho de tres leches" a Sponge cake bathed in three types of milk that is decorated with                     merengue. it might go well for you

        "Patty" is battered or baked empanada, stuffed with meat, potatoes, or other ingredients, Careful, it         should be spicy.
